David Crain Obituary

David Scott Crain of Brownsburg, IN passed away at his home on December 8, 2019. He is survived by his wife Lashelle Crain, his daughter Samantha (Eric) Fridmanski, his son David (Sarah) Crain II, his brother John (Kathy Russell) Crain, his sister Connie (David) Dittmar and his sister-in-law Mickie Crain. He was preceded in death by his brother James Crain and his sister Julie First. Dave is also survived by four grandchildren: Taylor Willoughby, Faith Willoughby, Rose Willoughby and Emerson Fridmanski.

Dave was a family man. He was fun-loving with a great sense of humor, gentle, kind, encouraging, and a mentor to many people. You would be hard-pressed to find someone who didn’t like him. He was lovable and always willing to help a stranger.

Dave managed Burnside Express Collision in Zionsville, IN. Prior to that he was a customer service manager at Church Brothers Collision and a teacher, then supervisor, at Lincoln College of Technology. He always gave 100% at his job and enjoyed the work.

Dave loved his Goldwing motorcycle. He was in a motorcycle gang in Indianapolis called Chapter C. He enjoyed riding with friends and taking solo trips. He rode in all kinds of weather and called his rides wind therapy.
