Amanda Dawn Cassidy

Amanda Cassidy spent forty short years here on Earth before being called home to Heaven on Sunday, January 16, 2022 after many health struggles. She leaves behind her four children: Paige, Len, Alex, and Matthew Hagen; her parents: Michael and Vicky (Richards) Cassidy; her siblings: Sara Wilhelm, William Cassidy, Angela Wood, and Jason Cassidy; and a half sister Jo Ann Clement. She also leaves behind twenty-four nieces and nephews, and too many aunts, uncles and cousins to possibly count. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Rex and Sally Richards, grandparents Ruby and William Cassidy, her aunts and uncles: Carol Hutchins, Don Richards, Sally Richards, Donna Richards, and Jack Richards.

   Amanda came into this world on December 14, 1981 in Fort Worth, Texas to Michael and Vicky Cassidy, the third of five children. She began her career as a loving mother at a very young age, but it was by far her biggest accomplishment and favorite pastime.

   Amanda had a passion for music, was a True Crime junkie, a freelance photographer, and was referred to as an “Old Spirit.” She loved Marilyn Monroe, watching classic movies, and was teaching herself to knit. Amanda enjoyed trips to amusement parks, zoos and parks with her children, and of course passing her love for music and the classics onto them as well. She enjoyed making people laugh, and was often performing her own skits from well known movies and shows.

    A graveside service at Forest Park Cemetery is planned for 1:30pm on Monday, January 24th. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Messages and memories may be left on our website at www.KrugerCoanPape.com, or on the Kruger Funeral Home Facebook page.
