Amy S. (Horton) Hume, 55, of Tilton, went to her eternal beach on December 4, 2025 at 10:02 pm surrounded by family and friends. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Donna (Brown) Horton.
Amy married the love of her life, Tony Hume, on June 15th, 1991. They shared 34 years together. They extended the family with 2 sons, Dustin (Sierra) Hume and Logan Hume, a daughter, Philomenia (Michael) Hughes. The family grew by six grandkids. She is also survived by two brothers, Todd (Lori) Horton and Jerry Horton; one sister, Kimberly (Michael) Warner; one special niece, Katie Pundt, with countless nieces and nephews.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Terri Hughes; and her grandparents
Amy worked at Shell and Casey’s gas stations, drove a school bus for Oakwood school district, and several home healthcare agencies, and loved her clients.
Amy loved spending time with her family, thrift shopping, spending time at the beach, watching Joyce Meyer, and spending time playing the slots.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville, with services starting at 7:00 pm.
