Barb Pundt, 68 of Danville, left us suddenly on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022 at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital in Danville. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial visitation will be on Saturday, August 6th from 3-5pm at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville.
Barb was born on June 9, 1954 to Stanley and Della (Pearman) Storckman. She was raised in Cayuga, Indiana, graduating from North Vermilion High School in the early 1970’s. Barb married Ron Pundt in 1980 and the two moved to Danville to begin their lives together. Barb enjoyed listening to music, crocheting, and not only reading, but collecting books as well. The totes of books that the kids have moved throughout the years is astronomical. She would move mountains for her family, specifically her grandchildren who were the apples of her eye. Barb had a big heart and a fondness for animals.
Barb leaves behind her three children: Danielle (James) Reed, Chad Pundt, and Ron Pundt; eleven grandchildren: Jacob Pundt, Kendra Pundt, Khyler Pundt, Khysen Pundt, Khyden Pundt, Khyla Pundt, Khyenna Pundt, JJ Reed, Derricka Reed, Ronda Reed, and Jamelle Reed; and many “adopted” grandchildren. Her niece Angie Storckman and her nephew Ken (Clara) Storckman will also miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: Hugh Storckman and Ronald Storckman.
