Bart Keith Lock, 59 of State Line, IN and formerly Oakwood, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 after a long and courageous health battle. Visitation will be from 11-2pm on Thursday, December 8th at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Patti Wise officiating. A graveside will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery off of Shangri La Road in Oakwood.
Bart was born June 4, 1963 in Decatur to Russell and Judith (Haskett) Lock. He attended Oakwood schools, graduating in 1981. He worked at Oakwood Grade School in Maintenance before moving on to work at TH Snyder doing custom millwork. From there he went to work at Creative Cabinets, where he later retired. Bart was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, Nascar, was an amateur RC racer, and enjoyed having a drink with his friends and family. His sense of humor and quick wit will be greatly missed by everyone.
Bart married his high school sweetheart, Debi Jane Tellier on April 30, 1983 and the two have spent the past thirty-nine years together. He leaves behind his wife Debi; his two daughters: Meagan and Michelle (Marcus Lunn); two grandchildren: Kaydence and Garrett; brother: Bryan Lock; half-brother: Gary Lock; half-sister: Karen (Bob) Spurlock; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Brent Lock and Brandon Lock.
