Beverly Jane Woods

Beverly Jane Woods, 89, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville.  Visitation will be 9:00 – 10:00am on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Kruger Coan Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville.  Graveside and burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Current CDC and IDPH guidelines will be strictly enforced regarding social distancing, masks, and allowable numbers.

Beverly was born December 23, 1931 to Walter & Fannie (Young) Ellis.  Beverly worked for Diamond Grand School Cafeteria for 25 years, retiring as head cook in 1997.

She married Richard A. Woods on November 14, 1953, he preceded her on March 23, 2000.   Beverly is survived by her children:  Linda (Steve) Blazaitis, Janice (Mike) Million, and Peter (April) Woods; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and brother Michael (Sue) Ellis.

Beverly is Preceded by her parents, husband Richard Woods, grandson Shane Davis; brothers Tom (Sally) Ellis, and Harry (Deloris) Ellis.
