Carolyn Rae Hall, 71 of Danville, IL passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Goldwater Care. Per her wishes, there will be no public services.

She was born April 23, 1952, in Danville, IL to John W. Greene and Emma D. Davis.

Carolyn was united in marriage to Larry W. Hall on June 9, 1976. He survives.

Also, surviving is a daughter, Jaime M. Hall of Indianapolis, IN and a son Michael J. Greene (Janet) of Westville, IL. Grandchildren: Brycen Hall, Keon D. Clark, Aarieana Hall, and Zane Greene. Great-grandchildren Danae Hayes, Braylee Greene and Piper Greene.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and brother Dale Kelsheimer.

Carolyn attended Danville Public Schools and graduated with her nursing license from Lakeview College of Nursing. She was a Registered OCN Nurse. She retired from Provena United Samaritans Cancer Center.

Carolyn was an avid book reader. She had several favorite authors. She loved to watch football, rarely missing a game. Her favorite teams were the Kansas City Chiefs and Fighting Illini. She supported her husband's love of the Chicago Cubs, watching numerous games together. She also had a passion for photography. She loved to take pictures of places she visited, flowers, and especially family.
