Charles David Lomax

   Charles David Lomax, 67 of Danville, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at his home. 

   Chuck was born on June 23, 1956 in Danville to Charles and Laura (Myers) Lomax. He was one of six children. He attended Oakwood schools and became Illinois State Wrestling Champ his senior year in 1974. After high school he took a few classes at DACC before enlisting in the military. Chuck served in the US Navy from July of 1975 to May of 1980. He worked at Danville Metal Stamping for nearly thirty years. He leaves behind a daughter Jessica and a son Corey. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Alice.

   Graveside services will be at 11am on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Danville National Cemetery, 1900 E. Main Street in Danville with Sam Stowe officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 210.
