Christine Lee (Moore) VanDuyn

Christine Lee Vanduyn (Moore) passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 15, 2026, at La Bella Nursing Home in Danville. Born and raised in Danville to Loving parents, Karen and Orville Moore, Christine lived life loudly, laughing often, and never afraid to be herself. She was preceded in Death by her Parents, 1  Brother, Rex. Paternal Grandparents Pearl / William Moore, Maternal Grandparents Helen / Wilbur Stevens,  1 Granddaughter Zoey and 1 Great-Nephew Carson and Lifelong Best Friend Pam Davis.

Christine is survived by her loving daughter Candise and son Harley. Her Grandchildren Nathan, Ethan, Peyton, Noah, Julian, Teegan, Ryleigh and Chloe. 2 Sisters, Amber Black and Lorie Gardner. 1 Brother, Kenneth Moore and Her Companion George. Multiple nieces and nephews; and extended family. She was formerly married to Jay Vanduyn, with whom she raised her children.

Known for her goofy sense of humor and signature laugh, Christine had a love for life that was impossible to ignore. She delighted in collecting anything that was related to Frogs, playing bingo, cards, dice, and dominoes, and was happiest outdoors camping at Forest Glen with family and friends or fishing by the water. Her energy, mischief, and love for family left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her.

Christine’s spirit will live on in the laughter, joy, and fond memories of those she leaves behind. She had a way of turning ordinary moments into adventures, and her family and friends will always remember her for the positive energy she brought to every room.
