Clyde Leo Mack, 80, of Henning, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Home. A visitation will be from 11-1 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Vineyard Church, 3733 Poolside Drive in Danville. A service will follow at 1pm at Vineyard Church. IDPH Guidelines will be followed regarding gathering limitations, masks and social distancing.
Clyde was born March 19, 1940 in Danville to Clyde and Anna (Swider) Mack. He worked at Harrison Steel and Esco. He enjoyed watching western, car shows, loved his dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and would give his shirt off his back for anyone. Anyone who met Clyde knew he was a special and unique person.
Clyde married Joyce Campbell, and hade 4 children: Peggy, Curt, Elizabeth and David. Clyde later married to Chris Taylor and had 2 kids: Rebecca and Ellis. Clyde then met the love of his life, Linda Amos, and have been together for 31 years.
Clyde is survived by his kids: Elizabeth Ann Dahl (Mike Webb), Peggy (Chuck) Gan, David Mack, Ellis Mack, Rebecca Rouse (Phil Johnson), Roy (Tracy) and Lois. Brothers and sisters: Steve, Mary (Pat), Frances (Ed), Helen, Steve, and Joe; Sister-in-law: Pat Robinson, Debra, Janice, and JD; Grandkids: Joseph, Abigail, Dakota, and Michael Rouse, Ellis J. Mack, Clayton Brewer, Colin Amos; Great-grandchildren: Amethyst Jasmyn Fisher; along with several nieces and nephews.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, son Curtis Mack; brothers and sister: Charles, Elizabeth Ann, and George; and 2 nieces: Sherril McNeese and Kalani Turner.
