D. JoAnn Cramer Obituary

      D. JoAnn Cramer, 93, of Bentonville, Arkansas and formerly of Danville, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020. A prayer service will be held at 3:30pm on Wednesday, September 2nd at Kruger-Coan-Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St. in Danville. Visitation will follow from 4-6pm, where IDPH guidelines regarding mandatory masks and social distancing will be upheld. A private family mass and burial will be held at a later date.

      JoAnn was born on July 19, 1927 in Trousdale, Oklahoma to Nathan and Mary (Black) Maner.  JoAnn worked at Chuckles Candy and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in the x-ray department for 20 years.  She dedicated her life to her family, and was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was always looking forward to visits from her family and traveled many times to see them in her younger days.  She enjoyed playing the card game euchre whenever the family gathered, and loved euchre tournament play. JoAnn was an awesome southern cook much to her family’s delight. She also enjoyed Spot, her beloved Boston terrier. She was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

      JoAnn married Ferris B. Cramer on October 26, 1946, and the two spent 53 years together until his passing in 2000.  Survivors include her children: Marsha Cavinder (William), Janet Bial (Mark), Ferris Cramer (Elizabeth), Jeffrey Cramer (DiDamie); her grandchildren:  Billy Cavinder (Dayna), Shannon Nipper (Greg), Brittany Kane (Tim), Bailey Bial, Holly Skadsem (Adrian), Ryan Cramer (Courtney), Matthew Cramer, Marci Cramer, Jessi Gagnon (Cody), and Kelli Cramer and her great grandchildren: Caleb Cavinder, Stella Cavinder, Isabelle Lyons, Alexander Dean, Annabelle Skadsem, Clara Skadsem, Linden Cramer, Ferris Louie Cramer, Brooklyn Warfield, and Blake Warfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ferris and her 13 siblings.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in JoAnn’s name may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 444 E. Main St., Danville, Il 61832 or to Northwestern Memorial Foundation, 541 N.
