David S. Tyrl, 69 of Danville, left this world for a better place on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, surrounded by those that loved him. Per his wishes, he will be cremated and private burial services will be held.
David was born in Danville on March 11, 1956 to Arthur and Nancy (Willie) Tyrl. He attended Danville High School, graduating in 1974 and going on to attend a School for the Deaf and Blind in St. Paul, MN. David worked in Janitorial and Housekeeping for over twenty-five years at the VA Illiana Medical Center in Danville before taking early retirement for his health issues in 2007.
David loved watching wrestling and reading the newspaper. He also enjoyed going to the thrift stores and finding the good bargains.
David leaves behind his cousins Barbara Hagerty and Michelle Craddick; many native relatives from Alaska; and his longtime friend and companion Alan Swigart. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Arthur Jr. Messages and memories may be left on our website at www.KrugerCoanPape.com, or on the Kruger Funeral Home Facebook page.
