Delores “Tootie” Quick, 90 of Danville, joined her beloved Gene in Heaven, at 2:31am on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Hawthorne Inn of Danville. Visitation will be from 9-11am on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Kruger Coan Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. IDPH guidelines will be strictly followed regarding gathering limitations, masks and social distancing. A private family service will be held, and Tootie will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park next to her husband.
Tootie was born on October 21, 1930 in Danville to Raymond and Vivian (Nash) Haun. She attended Douglas Grade School and DHS. Her hobbies were cooking, reading, and gardening.
Tootie married Gene Quick on June 4, 1949 at First Assembly of God Church, and the two were inseparable until his passing in March of 2016. She leaves behind her two boys: Terry (Cathy) Quick and Larry Quick of Danville; grandkids: Chad (Dee) Quick, Lee (Nell) Quick, Nicole (Sean) Lange all of Westville, and Kim (Mike) Weber of Danville; seven great grandchildren; and sister Betty Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene, brother Don Haun, and also a very special friend Dee Young.
