Doyne Krage, 81 of Bedford, IN and formerly of Danville, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025. Visitation will be at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 3-5pm. Funeral Services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 E. Main Street in Danville on Monday, December the 22nd at 10am. Burial will follow at Danville National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
Doyne was born on April 4, 1944 in Galesburg, IL to Wilma (Atwater) Anderson. She grew up in Knoxville where she was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Henry and Jesse Atwater. Doyne made the best of wherever she worked, but she spent the most time working at MSI in Danville, IL where she made some of her lifetime friends. She retired from MSI to work with her husband at his family business, CC&C. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, drawing, making beaded jewelry and spending time with her family and friends.
Doyne married Victor Krage and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2018. They have three children: Jeff (Shannon) Rose; Deanne Webb; Laura (Shannon) Epps and five grandchildren: Paul Hughes Jr, Amanda Webb, Jacob Hughes, Logan Hawkins, and Elissa Rose; five great-grandchildren; a brother: Ron Anderson; a sister Linda Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Doyne was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma and Dale Anderson and her husband, Victor.
