Elizabeth Pitlik

Elizabeth Pitlik, 107 of Danville, peacefully passed away at her home, June 30, 2020.  She was born May 24, 1913, at her family home in Tilton, Illinois.  She was the eldest daughter of Joseph and Matilda Rouszan Pitlik. They preceded her in death.  Also preceding her were siblings and their spouses, Joe/Jane Pitlik, Mary/Ed Dalbey, Esther/Bob Rodman, Frank/Patricia Pitlik, Irma/Bob Porter, Helen/Jack Gillum, Bill/Kathleen Pitlik and several nieces and nephews.  Surviving siblings include, Julie/Joe(dec) Trigalet, Tillie/Charlie Dietz, Joann Dernulc and nieces and nephews and their families too numerous to name.

She never married and spent her early life working at various occupations, but her true calling was tending to the flock of her siblings and their families.

She spent a lifetime devoted to her Catholic faith, and surrounded herself with pictures and statues of Mary, The Holy Family and Angels.  She prayed the rosary daily.

She will be sadly missed by her entire family as well as her dear friends, Gladys Musson, Elinore Rome, and her devoted caretaker, Nancee Keller.

Per her request, she will be cremated with a private burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
