Ella "Dean" Clark

Ella “Dean” Clark, 83, of Danville, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.  Per her wishes, she will be cremated with an internment in Mt. Summit, Indiana at a later date.

Dean was born on October 12, 1937 in New Castle, Indiana to William and Dorothy Bergin.  She enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, and spending time with her puppy dog Charlie.

Dean married Richard Clark on July 13, 1958, and they shared over 63 years of marriage before his passing in April 2020.  Surviving include her children:  Dick (Sharon) Clark, Dave (Chris) Clark, and Dana (Todd) Garrison; grandchildren:  Kaitlyn and Matthew Clark, Ella and Gunnar Garrison, Tyler Little, and Amanda Nichols; great-grandchildren:  Evelyn Little, Josh Odle, and Caitlynn Anderson; sister Mary Jo Beck, and brother Michael Bergin.  Dean is preceded in death by her parents, spouse, son Brian Clark, sisters:  Gertie Davis, Thelma Sarty, and Alvena O’Doherty,
