Everett Wayne Pichon

   Everett “Ev” Pichon, 55 of Oakwood, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his home in Clinton. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 5th from 1-4pm at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St, Danville, IL. 61832.

   Everett was born to Everett Joseph and Betty (Gooch) Pichon on April 28, 1967. He grew up in the Oakwood area, graduating from Oakwood High School in 1985. Throughout the years Everett worked at numerous places, but enjoyed his most recent job at Carle from 2017-2022 the most. He enjoyed watching the Illini, playing a game of basketball, and cooking.

   Everett married Karol Wolfert in 1988 and the two spent ten years together. Though they later divorced, they have remained close, lifelong friends. He leaves behind his four sons: Corey (Becca) Pichon, Dylan Pichon, Tyler Pichon, and Tanner Pichon; a grandson Silas Pichon; four brothers: Matt, Joe (Peggy), Jon (Debbie), and Terry (Kathy) Pichon; a sister Sandy; his girlfriend Tammy Clarkston; his former wife Karol; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Troy.
