Frances Irene Heaton, 83 of Danville, slipped into Eternal Rest on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Accolade Healthcare in Danville. She passed just seven days after her beloved husband Larry, whom she had shared just short of fifty-six years with.
Frances was born in Danville on July 17, 1943 to Fred and Ethel (Thatcher) Lockhart. She was raised, attended Danville schools, and grew up in the area. Frances worked at KIK for many years, retiring shortly before their closure. She married Larry Heaton in 1970 and the two were inseparable.
A graveside service for both Frances and Larry will be on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 12pm (Noon) at Danville National Cemetery with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating.
