Frances Jane (Copsy) Kingen

Frances Jane Kingen, 87 of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital in Danville. Per her wishes there will be no public services.

   Frances was born on June 17, 1935 in Danville to Walter and Mary (Mills) Copsy. She was raised in Danville and attended Lincoln Grade School and Danville High School.  She married Charles Kingen on December 31, 1951 and the two shared over sixty-six years together before his passing in 2018.

   Frances leaves behind her children: Sheila Denney, Daniel Kingen, Judith Kingen, and Becky Sapp; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her two sisters: Jaqueline and Rebecca, and her two brothers: Bob and Donald.
