Frank Bernardi Obituary

Frank Russell Bernardi, 56 of Danville, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at OSF Sacred Heart in Danville. Visitation will be from 1-3pm on Monday, January 10th at Kruger Coan Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. A brief service will follow at 3pm with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating.

Frank was born on August 30, 1965 in Danville to Joseph D. (Clara E. Fortner) Bernardi Sr. He attended Danville elementary schools and graduated from Danville High School in 1983. Upon finishing school, he enlisted in the US Army Reserves where he dedicated five years to our country. Frank worked at the Auto Zone returns center for about nine years until his health forced him to retire.  In his free time you could often find Frank playing board games, cards, and watching his beloved Indianapolis Colts. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and his cat Abbi was always by his side.

Frank leaves behind his siblings Elizabeth “Ann” Litzen, Joe (Isabel) Bernardi Jr, Daniel Bernardi Sr, and David Bernardi, and many nieces and nephews.
