Glenn Reed Obituary

   Glenn Reed, 80 of Danville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Visitation will be from 3-6pm on Monday, September 8th at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 9th at 11am. There will be no graveside services.

   Glenn was born on November 24, 1944 in Danville to Glenn Edward and Vanetta Irene (Huppert) Reed. He attended Danville area schools. Glenn served in the US Marines during Vietnam. He was a semi-truck driver for most of his life for Gainey. Glenn loved his family, friends, trucking, and racing. He enjoyed Nascar and antique cars. He had a great time attending family reunions and playing poker with his siblings and extended family.

   Glenn married Donna Reynolds in June of 1973, and she passed away in March of 2006. In 2007, he found love again with Belinda (Duncan) Riggleman and the two have been by one another’s sides ever since.

   Glenn leaves behind his wife Belinda; his children: Tina (Scott) Henthorn, Paul (Coleen) Brower, Carol Brower, Jada (Shawn) Cox, Bill (Pam) Brewer, Gloria (James) Pulley, Nick McCandless, Jerry (Keyin) Riggleman, Kelli Riley, and Glenda Reed; nineteen grandchildren including Blake Henthorn and Justin Hinote whom he was particularly close; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and two great-great granddaughters-Athena Monson and Alana Largent. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters:  June, Jimmy, Jerry, John, and Joyce and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Donna, his parents, a granddaughter Terri Largent, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several aunts and uncles, as well as their spouses.
