Henrietta Foote, 91 of Danville, went Home to the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Hawthorne Inn of Danville. Visitation will be Friday, October 21st from 11-1pm at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street, with services immediately following. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Henrietta was born in Ridge Farm on May 6, 1931 to Ross and Effie (Finch) Holaday. She graduated from Ridge Farm High School and worked for thirty years at AT&T as a Switchboard Operator. She married Herbert Foote on January 10, 1970 and raised a family of eight boys. She was a fifty-year member of Catlin Church of Christ where she loved attending church every week she was able. Henrietta loved watching her boys plays baseball, getting together with her family and friends, reading romance novels, and doing word searches.
Henrietta leaves behind her six boys: Lowell, Forrest, Bruce, Mark, Alva (Jamie Gooch), and Anthony Foote; a special grandson Joseph Lee Foote; numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herbert; two sons: James and Loyal Foote; a sister Paralee; and three brothers: Richard, Sam, and Tom.
