Hugh “Marshall” Farr, 82 of Danville, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at his home, with those he loved by his side.
Marshall was born in Macomb, Illinois on November 16, 1943 to Hugh and Frances (Crick) Farr. He enlisted and served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, and would later earn a Bachelors Degree and work at GM as a Maintenance Supervisor for many years.
Marshall married Susan Hough on January 31, 1966 and the two have shared life’s adventures together for just shy of sixty years. Together they made their home in Danville and raised two daughters: Danielle Mullen and Leah Schulter.
Marshall leaves behind his loving wife Susan; his two daughters Danielle and Leah; four grandchildren; a sister: Patricia Rittenhouse; and two brothers: Don and Dennis Farr. He was preceded in death by his parents.
