Jaclyn ‘Jackie” Bland, 76 of Danville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at OSF Heart of Mary in Urbana. Visitation will be from Noon-1pm on Friday, September 8th at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. Services will follow at 1pm. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
Jackie was born in Danville on July 5, 1947, the only child of Donald and Johanna (Seider) Scott. She attended Danville schools, graduating from DHS in 1965. Jackie enjoyed raising her children, and later her grandchildren, but also worked as a factory worker for some time as well. Jackie loved to garden, plant flowers, and work in her yard. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and was a collector of all things pig.
Jackie married Mike Bland in 1990 and the two have shared over thirty-three years together. She leaves behind her husband Mike; her children: Angie (Bobby) Lucas, Shelley (Kenneth) Wallace, Sabrina (Braxton) Bland, Michael Hunter, Joshua (Gerri) Bland, Summer (Howard) Bland; her grandchildren: Austin, Tabitha, Kilian, Jeffery, Sebastian, Kameron, Gauge, Shawn, Evelyn, Malcolm, Keagan, Josh Jr, Mikey, and Mario; and her great grandchildren: A’mi, Tessa, Seth, Kingsley.
