James "Jim" West

   Jim West, 66 of Danville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Private services will be held in the near future, and he will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery.

   James was born March 29, 1959 in Joplin, Missouri to John and Martha (Scarlett) West. Jim worked at R & S Printing and later US Can/Ball Corporation for fifteen years.

   Jim married Kathy West on June 15, 1986. The two later divorced but have remained close friends and travel companions. leaves his children: Jake West and Jessi (Patrick) Alblinger; two grandchildren: Quentin and Luke Alblinger; his sisters: Kathy (Vern) Peck of Fort Worth, TX, Suzi West (Mike Sroufek) of Tilton, IL, and Connie West (Doug Housley) of Fort Worth, TX; nieces and nephews: Mindy Peck (Peyton) Hobbs, J. Ryan Louis (Emma) Peck, TX, Brandi (JW) Martin, Sarah Ruggles, Jerrod Ruggles, Stevie (Matthew) Willich, Jordan Housley, Dylan (Karsyn) Housley, Ashley (Brad) Lankster; and his loyal doxie Shorty. He will also be greatly missed by his many close friends he has made throughout the years.
