Janet Lou Davis, 85 of Danville, left us for a better home in Heaven, on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Accolade Healthcare of Danville. Per her wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Janet was born on September 23, 1936 in Danville to Louise and Lillian (Trask) Maire. She grew up in Fair Oaks, graduating from DHS in 1954. She later married Jerry Davis in 1969. Janet enjoyed her work as a bookkeeper for numerous businesses in Danville including Walgreens. She never missed Bingo and BUNCO Club until her health forced her to quit driving. In her spare time she could also be found crocheting.
Janet leaves behind her son Louis “Jay” Davis; three grandchildren: Cheyenne Butcher (Kyle), Skylar Kagels (Bear), and Averi Davis; and a brother: Retired Marine Major William Maire. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
A Celebration of Life is planned for 2-6pm on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Kruger Coan Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. Please check back often for updated dates and times. Messages and memories for the family may be left on our website at www.KrugerCoanPape.com, or on the Kruger-Coan-Pape Funeral Home Facebook page.
