Jeanne Elyse (Hinton) Anders

Jeanne Elyse Anders, 75 of Danville, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Per her wishes no services were held.

   Jeanne was born to Joseph and Mildred (Smoot) Hinton on August 7, 1948 in Danville. She attended Danville schools and later DACC to earn her Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Jeanne worked for several local companies including Bullock Garage, Anchor Hocking, CCL, and Mann’s Accounting.  When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was active in community clubs and events. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spirited conversations.

   Jeanne leaves behind her son Brian (Kim) Anders; grandchildren Joshua Anders, Kristina Hallett, and Morgan Anders. She has 5 great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
