Kathleen Yvonne Phillips, 78 of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectantly at her daughter’s home on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes laid to rest in the hills of Tennessee.
Kathleen was born on September 7, 1947 in Oliver Springs, TN to Earl and Iva (England) Phillips. She was born and raised in Oliver Springs where she attended and graduated school as well. Kathleen attended classes at the Concept College of Cosmetology, and would later become a truck driver-a job she absolutely loved and would do for years. She enjoyed traveling and visited all of the 48 continental states. Kathleen enjoyed the freedom of being able to just get up and go wherever and whenever she wanted. She was also a fan of fishing and being outdoors. You won’t find a bigger Elvis fan, and true to his word, she definitely lived her life “her way.”
Kathleen leaves behind her children: Iva Bridgman, Deletta Ringler, William Eldridge, Mike Eldridge, and Chad Eldridge; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and six siblings: Earl Phillips, Leona Phillips, Lucy Stedam, John Phillips, Howard Phillips, and Daniel Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Earlene.
