Larry Wayne Hall, 79, of Danville, IL passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Goldwater Care. Per his wishes, there will be no public services.
He was born August 14, 1945 in Williamsport, IN to Robert L. and Luella R. Hall.
Larry was united in marriage to Carolyn Greene on June 9, 1976. She preceded him in death.
Surviving is a daughter, Jaime M. Hall of Indianapolis, IN. Grandchildren: Brycen Hall, Keon D. Clark, Aarieana Hall, and Great-children Danae Hayes and Cyriece Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ben Hall and Richard Hanson.
Larry attended schools in west central Indiana, graduating from Attica High School in 1964. In 1966 he entered the military, serving in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. He was a Vietnam war veteran.
He worked for 32 years at Vermilion Garden Apartments, retiring in 2008 as Maintenance Supervisor.
Larry was an avid sports fan, especially baseball. He was particularly proud of his 60 year membership in the Chicago Die-Hard Cubs Fan Club. He rarely missed watching or listening to a Cubs ball game. He was a master of baseball trivia, stats, player info, and all-things Cubs related.
