Jeannette worked at General Electric, Connor’s Restaurant, and at Cap & Gown over the years. She was a devoted, longtime member of Homer Congregational Church where she enjoyed volunteering and Bible Study groups.
Jeannette married Lawrence ‘Pete Ellis in October of 1950 and he preceded her in death on February 18, 1965. She later wed Warren Brock on November 11, 1966 in Ludlow and the two shared thirty-one years together before his passing in January of 1997. She leaves behind her daughter Judy Young; two grandchildren: Robert and Toni Young; many nieces and nephews, including her niece and nephew: Jackie and Tim Prunkard, whom took care of her these past several years; and her close friends Mary and Jamie Jenkins.
