Mabeline Knight

   Mabeline Knight, 84, of Danville, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at home.  Visitation will be from 11-1pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Kruger-Coan-Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville.  Service will be at 1pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Kruger-Coan-Pape Funeral Home.

   Mabeline was born December 17, 1936 in Eugene, Indiana to George and Mabel (Grubb) Vannote.  Mabeline enjoyed working at various places, including Lakeview Medical Center and retiring from the Deluxe Restaurant.  She enjoyed gardening, loved music, and was a Chicago Cubs fan.

   Mabeline married Howard S. Knight Sr. on June 20, 1970 in Danville, he preceded her on February 11, 1997.  Survivors include her sons:  Jeff (Olivia) Connor and Howard (DeLisa) Knight; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.  Mabelne was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, and siblings.
