Mark K. Brown, 67, of Danville, left us suddenly on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Per his wishes, he will be cremated. The family has planned a memorial visitation from 12-2pm on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Kruger Coan Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. IDPH guidelines will be strictly followed regarding gathering limitations, masks and social distancing.
Mark was born on July 21, 1953 in Hillery, Illinois to William and Margaret (Wallace) Brown. He attended Oakwood schools, graduating in 1971. Mark was a union worker for Central Laborer’s for nearly thirty years, retiring in 2003. In his free time you could find him riding his Harley Davidson and taking his dog Ruby for rides in the truck.
Mark married Susan Masulis on June 23, 2012 in Danville, and she survives. He also leaves behind a son Clayton (Heather) Brown, a grandson Colin Brown, and a sister Carol (Lance) Thompson. He will also be greatly missed by his sister-in-laws Bobbi (Dennis) Huckstadt, Paula (William) Masulis-Sohn, and Theresa (Brett) Atwood and his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wayne Brown, and a stepson Tyler Masulis.
