Mary M. Hires

Mary M. Hires, 82, of Danville, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital in Danville.  There will be a private family service, with entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Mary was born July 20, 1937 in Danville to Donald and Margaret Dazey.  She graduated from Schlarman High School.  Mary worked for Illinois Printing until they closed.  She then worked for R&S Printing for many years until they closed.  Mary then worked for Krupp Gerlach until she retired at age 72.  Mary loved working, and had many friends through her work.  She loved spending time with her family, taking care of her dogs, and going out to eat and having a good time.

Mary married Willie T. Hires November 4, 1955, he passed in 1998.  Surviving include her Daughter Linda Rudy; 2 grandchildren:  Adam and Amanda Andrews; 3 great-grandchildren:  Madison Andrews, Adrienne Andrews, and Na’Sean Andrews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Will T. Hires.
