Mary (Paula) Watkins

     Mary Paulette (Paula) Watkins, 72, of Danville, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at home.  A memorial visitation will be from 12-1:30pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021.  A memorial service will follow at 1:30pm with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Per CDC and Illinois Dept of Health Guidelines, face masks will be required in the building during visitation and services. 

     Paula was born March 13, 1949 in Danville, IL to Paul and Geneveive Clawson.  She attended Lynch Grade School, Bismarck and Danville High School.  She formerly worked at Vermilion County Court House, Trans-Continental Insurance Agency, Autotron, Furry Inc, and co-owner of We R Promotions.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, family, friends, and beloved pets.

     Paula married Earl W. Watkins on November 27, 1965.  Survivors include her husband, son Paul W. Watkins, grandson Paul W. Ribbe, granddaughter Kylee Watkins, brother George Clawson, sisters: Roberta Walters and Linda Smith, and many nieces and nephews and great friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: Harold and Robert Clawson.
