Michael A Lucas

   Michael Lucas, 54 of Danville, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Per his wishes there will be no public services.

   Michael was born to Linda (Osborn) Lucas on April 11, 1970 in Danville. He attended Danville grade schools and Danville High School, earning his GED in 1987. A very talented computer whiz, Michael enjoyed programming, playing games, and building computers. In his younger years he enjoyed roller skating at Illini Skateland. He was a great shot at pool and played in local leagues for fifteen years, even heading to Vegas for the Championships.

   Michael worked at Illini Skateland, Tire Central, and for Vermilion County. He was Chief Deputy Auditor and worked by his mother’s side for many years. He quit working to care for his mother when her health took an unexpected turn. They were best friends.

   Michael leaves behind his mother Linda Lucas-Anstey and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and the man who raised him, George Lucas Jr.
