Nadean Amos, 76, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020. There will be a visitation Friday, November 13, 2020 from Noon – 1:00pm at Kruger-Coan-Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. IDPH guidelines regarding face masks and social distancing will be enforced. Following visitation, private services will be held and Nadean will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Danville.
Nadean was born May 12, 1944 in Danville to George and Maenette (Rebmann) Schingel. She was the secretary at Bullock Garages for 28 years. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and going to flea markets. She sung in the church choir at St. Pauls Catholic Church, and sung in the Vermilion Festival Chores. She loved her dogs, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Nadean married Walter “Butch” Amos on July 7, 1962, he survives. Also surviving are 4 children: Debora Cook, Deana Pierce, Denise Walker, and Dennis “Mike” Amos; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister Anita Dragoo. She was preceded by her parents; and sister Georgia Carey.
