Noel E Emory

   Noel Emory, 85 of Westville, passed away at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 1:54pm. Mass will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 231 N. State Street in Westville at 12:30pm on Thursday, June 26th. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Following services, Noel will be buried at Danville National Cemetery.

   Noel was born on November 16, 1939 in Ridge Farm, Illinois to Wayne W. and Gertrude (Myler) Emory. He attended Ridge Farm schools and enlisted in the US Army following his graduation. Noel proudly served for five and a half years as a lineman. Following his return from the service, Noel worked at Hyster for sixteen and a half years as a Fork Lift Operator.

   He was a passionate reader- both his Bible and In Touch were two of his favorites. He also enjoyed doing Door Dash deliveries with his wife Linda.

   Noel married Linda Johnson on March 4, 2002 in Westville, Illinois and the two have spent the last twenty-three years by one another’s sides. He leaves behind his wife Linda; a son: Troy Emory; and a sister: Judy Balsamello. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant grandson, and a twin brother Noble (wife Ellen) Emory.
