Patricia Ann High, 83 of Georgetown, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at OSF Sacred Heart in Danville. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 18th from 11-1pm at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street with services following at 1pm. Pastor Dave Martin will officiate.
Pat was born on March 17, 1941 in Danville to Robert and Hazel (Vance) Taylor. She attended Danville schools and later the local Beauty College. In her younger years Pat enjoyed the outdoors- mushroom hunting, camping with her sons and taking them to Indiana Beach, and watching her son race. She enjoyed going out with her friends and having a good time, as well as dancing. Pat liked to listen to country-western music, read a good book, share the latest gossip with her friends, attend annual family reunions, and spend time with her grandchildren. Pat was a longtime, and probably one of the last members, of Maury Chapel.
Pat leaves behind her children: Kevin (Mary) Thomas, Ronald Thomas Jr, Donnie High, and Elizabeth Tharpe; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, a half-brother James Taylor, a niece Susie Bell Gaudio, and a nephew Bobby Joe Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-parents, a sister Barbara Cunningham, a step-brother John Dearth, a daughter Vicki Frazier, a son Curtis Thomas, her husband Donald James High, and a granddaughter Kimmie.
