Patricia Ann Lowe

Patricia Ann Lowe, 79 of Greencastle and formerly of Danville passed this life on Monday, December 11,, 2023 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, IN. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 14th from 10:30-11:30am CST (11:30-12:30pm EST) at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. Services will follow at 11:30am CST (12:30pm EST) with Pastor Phil Jackson officiating. There will be no graveside services.

   Pat was born February 12, 1944 in Danville to B.E. and Alice (Rogers) Whittington. She attended Henning grade school and graduated from Henning High School. Pat worked for many years at Bacon and Van Buskirk Glass in Danville. Pat was a lover of horses- raising them and trail riding has always been a family affair. She could often be found crocheting afghans, working puzzles, and coloring- all which helped to keep her mind sharp throughout the years. She also had an endless supply of terriers throughout her life.

   Pat married J.M. Lowe on March 31, 1961 in Danville and the two shared fifty-seven years of marriage until his passing in March of 2018. She leaves behind her son Rusty (Andrea) Lowe; two grandchildren: Eric (Kelly) Lowe and Julianne (Jared) Clendenen; and five great granddaughters.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.M., and a brother Eddie Whittington.
