Patricia "Patty" J (Burton) Smalley

   Patricia ‘Patty” Smalley, 89 of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Accolade Healthcare of Danville. Visitation will be Saturday, August 20th from 2-4pm at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville.  A private burial will take place at a later date.

   Patty was born July 16, 1933 in Danville to Harold and Hazel (Bates) Burton. She attended Danville schools, graduating from DHS in 1951. She worked many odd jobs throughout the years, most recently at the Truck Plaza out in Eastgate. Patty enjoyed watching the Cubs, having a drink with family and friends, and going to the Casinos.

   Patty married James Smalley Sr in 1976 and he passed away in October of 2000. She leaves behind her two sons: Robert Olson and Greg Jones; her granddaughter: Emma Miley; one great granddaughter: Mila Miley; and three brothers: Robert (Barb) Burton, William (Marilyn) Burton, and Harold (Kathie) Burton Jr. She was preceded by her parents and her husband James.
