Penny D. Faber

Penny D. Faber, 78, of Danville, IL met Jesus face to face and was reunited with her four legged children on Sunday, November 14, 2021

Penny was born on May 12, 1943 in Danville, IL to John and Mary Pruett also of Danville.  Both John and Mary have gone before and welcomed her home in Heaven.

After graduating high school, she went off to college, graduated and became a teacher.  Penny spent twenty plus years teaching in the Chicago area and retired after 20 plus years of service.

Besides being a teacher, Penny was known for her love of the smaller rescue dogs, in particular all things Pekingese.  She adopted and cared for many dogs over the years.  Penny was also known as a great neighbor in the North Logan Avenue area as well as for the meticulous care she took of her home.  If you knew Penny, you also knew she was the most generous and giving person.

Per Penny’s request there will be no services held.  Please feel free to take a moment to reminisce on your beautiful times and memories of Penny as she was a beautiful and colorful soul.  In lieu of memorials, donations can be made on Penny’s behalf to the Vermilion County Humane Society.
