Rachel Nichole Clapp, 35 of Kingman and formerly of Westville, was taken from us suddenly on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12-2pm CST at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville.
Rachel was born August 19, 1989 in Danville to James and Stephanie (Farrar) Peters. She attended Westville Schools and graduated from Graves County High School in 2007. Following high school she attended Murray State where she took several courses in nursing. Rachel worked at Valley Oaks Behavioral Health for the past several months, and prior to that she worked at Carle in Home Health. Rachel enjoyed cooking and interior design, and she was a music fanatic. She knew the words to every song that came on the radio. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children. And she enjoyed water fowl and deer hunting when she was younger. No matter where she went, Rachel was the life of the party. She was always surrounded by a large number of friends, whether in Kentucky, Indiana, or Illinois; whom she will miss dearly and who will dearly miss her.
Rachel leaves behind her three children: Ryleigh Clapp, Jayce Clapp, and Tristan Ess; her father: Jim (Susan) Peters; her four siblings: Megan Hart, Andrew Hart, Dillon (Maggie) Peters, and Caitlynn (Ronnie) White; her fiancé: TJ Powell; fourteen nieces and nephews with another niece on the way; and her stepfather Mario Dickson Sr. She was preceded in death by two angel babies and her mother Stephanie Dickson.
