Ronald Wayne Blagg

    Ronald Wayne Blagg, 69 of Danville, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at his home. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 30th from 3-6pm at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. He has chosen to be cremated after.

   Ron was born in Hammond, Indiana on September 23, 1956 to Charles and Mary (Powell) Blagg; the youngest of sixteen children. Throughout the years Ron worked as a welder, most recently at Freightcar.

   Ron was an avid bowler and bowled on the Senior League at Lincoln Lanes. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and watching his Westerns.

   Ron married Carolyn Reid on March 17, 2005 and she survives him. He also leaves behind his daughter Alicia Howay, two grandsons Eithan Shurr and Jayse Shurr; two great-grandsons: Braylon Shurr and Russtyn Shurr; an honorary granddaughter Paisley Crawford;  and an honorary grandson Dylan English. His brothers and sisters: Joseph Blagg, Carol Caves, Robin Pollard, and Harry Martin-Blagg also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
