Ronald David Maiden, 63 of Danville, IL. left us unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 2pm at Oak Hill Cemetery (off of Sangri La). He will be laid to rest next to his late wife Beverly Maiden.
Ronald was born in Germany on November 14, 1957 to Jimmie Alfred Maiden and Erna (Kienest) Maiden. He grew up as part of a military family, traveling all over the world. After graduating high school, Ronald took GRCC classes and became a tool and die maker. He enjoyed this work and made a lifelong career out of it as a machinist. In his free time Ronald could often be found enjoying time with his son Jimmie, fishing, camping, working on vehicles and fixing things around the house.
Ronald leaves behind his son; Jimmie Maiden; Step daughter; Carrie Poest. grandchildren; Jayden, Dylan and Lucas; his Mother; Erna Maiden and four siblings: sister: Evelyn Mayorga (Alex), brother: Raymond Maiden (Melanie), sister: Nina Maiden and brother: Andy Maiden. He was preceded in death by his father ; Jimmie and infant son; Darwin Ronald Maiden. Plus many nieces and nephew’s. He also leaves behind his special friend of 9 years; Dianne Smith and caregiver and friend; Heather Hoyt.
