Stevie Don, as he was affectionately known, graduated from Schlarman High school in 1975 and Illinois State University in 1979 in Construction Management. In high school, Steve was an athlete playing football and basketball. During the summer, he was on the Vermilion Hills Country Club swim team and was a life guard at Vermilion Gardens. In college and after, he was the life of the party! He was fun-loving and always had a smile! You could always find him with either a baseball hat or a stocking cap on! He loved the Chicago white Sox, Chicago Bears, the Blackhawks and golf!
