Susan Kingery, 66 of Danville, passed this life with loved ones by her side, on May 30, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Per her wishes there will be no public services.
Susan was born August 1, 1956 in Vermilion county to John and Irene (Moody) Columbo. She grew up in the Danville area, graduating high school and going on to marry and begin a family of her own. Susan worked at Thyssen Krupp as a machine operator for several years and was well liked by everyone. Susan enjoyed spending time with her family, and enjoyed doing everything they did- sporting events, fishing and hiking, and cooking out were just a few things they did together. She also had a love for gardening, riding horses and taking care of her animals. Susan and her sister were very close and spent a lot of time at flea markets, as Susan always had something new in the house she wanted to redecorate. Susan was a hard worker and an amazing mom.
Susan leaves behind her two children: Jason Kingery and Shanna Kingery; her six grandchildren: Heaven and Maisie Kingery, Landon and Bianca Matthews, and Jackson and Ryker Tomlinson; a sister Lisa (Jeff) Arnold; and a brother Jay (Cindy) Columbo. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ricky Varvel..
