Teresa Ann Willoughby, 66 of Foley, Alabama and a longtime Danville resident, left this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 16th from 11-1pm with a 1pm service by Pastor Raymie Gordon. Teresa will be laid to rest beside her husband Danny in Greenwood cemetery following services.
Teresa was born on April 20, 1955 to William Oehmke and Virginia (German) Stevens. She attended Danville schools and upon finishing school, she entered into the work world. She retired from Walgreens Accounting shortly after her husband died in 2010 after thirty years with the company. Teresa was a cat lover, enjoyed playing BINGO, and she adored her grandchildren. She was in fact known as Grandma Horsey Ride by not only her own grandchildren, but their friends as well. She also enjoyed crafts, and going to flea markets and rummages.
On December 4, 1971 Teresa married the love of her life, Danny Willoughby and the two shared thirty-seven years of love, laughter and adventures together before his passing in January of 2009. Teresa leaves behind her daughter Stephanie (Troy) Eller; four grandchildren: Kelsey Ward, Jacob Ward (Macy Richards), Emilee Eller, and Cole Eller; and three great grandchildren: Stella, Gracelynn, and Kooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Judy (Doug) Howell.
The family would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Teresa’s niece Amanda Mezo who has cared for her aunt over the past few years. Messages and memories may be left on our website at www.KrugerCoanPape.com, or on the Kruger Funeral Home Facebook page. Donations may be made in Teresa’s name to CARA, or the Danville or Vermilion County Humane Societies.
