Timothy Wayne Trimble, 61 of Rantoul and formerly of Danville, passed away on March 26, 2026 at Indiana Veteran’s Home of Lafayette, IN. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville from 11-12:30pm. Timothy was born in Danville on March 18, 1965 to Edward and Fannie Mae (Moore) Trimble. He attended both Danville and Hoopeston area schools before enlisting in the US Marine Corp where he proudly served from 1986 to 1993. Throughout his service he received numerous accommodations including Rifle Sharpshooter and Pistol Expert Badges, A Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and a Good Conduct Medal. Upon his return, Timothy worked at the Danville VA while going to school for Information Technology. After receiving his degree, he worked at Carle Hospital for a number of years in their IT department. After that he enjoyed working various jobs in maintenance and property management. He was sometimes called Tim the Tool Man by family and close friends.
Tim enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his beloved chihuahuas. He always had projects going on around the house. Tim also looked forward to serving his church where he was an usher and assisted with the coffee bar.
Timothy married Michelle Kidwell on August 15, 1988 and the two have shared the past thirty-eight years together. Tim is survived by his wife Michelle, their children, several grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
