Vickie Janene Price, 69 of Danville, left this World for a better place on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at her home. Visitation will be from 10-12pm on Monday, November 28th at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. Services will follow directly at noon.
Vickie was born on June 29, 1953 in Danville to Albert and Carolyn (Camp) Roberts. She was raised by her father and stepmother, Albert and Hazel. She attended Westville schools and DHS, graduating in 1972. Throughout the years Vickie worked as a maid, at the Public Safety building, at various factories, and at Help at Home as a home healthcare aide. When she wasn’t working, Vickie could often be found in her favorite chair crocheting afghans and blankets, and toying with embroidery. She enjoyed time with her family and big get togethers over the holidays, and she was an avid BINGO player.
Vickie married Ronald Leo Price on December 11, 1971 at St. Patrick’s Church in Danville and they have shared just shy of fifty-one years together. She also leaves behind her children: Ronald (Angie Glines) Price and Kimberly (Jessica) Price; three grandchildren: Sydni Beaulier, Kinslee Beaulier, and Makenzie Price; a son-in-law: Joe Beaulier; her sisters: Kim and Renee; two sisters-in-law: Carolyn Rogers and Nora Price; cousins: Fran (Larry) Heaton; many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews; and her constant puppy companion Minnie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother: Hazel Roberts, and her brothers: Mike (Susan) Roberts and Eddie; and her brothers-in-law: Bill Price, Marvin Price, and James Rogers.
