Walter "Wally" Strubberg Jr.

Walter “Wally” H. Strubberg Jr., 73 of Ridgefarm, passed away on November 11, 2020.  Wally was born October 12, 1947 in Danville to Walter H. Strubberg Sr. and Wilma June Wright.

Wally loved fishing, hunting, playing poker, and riding his Harley up until the day he was told he could no longer ride.  If you knew Wally, you know he did not like anyone telling him what he could or could not do, and never apologized for who he was.

Wally is survived by his children:  Troy Wright (Margo), Kim White (Roger), Shanda Jacobsen (Scott), Anthony Strubberg (Angela), Amy Brewer (Bill), and Shane Strubberg; sister: Dianna “Dink” Chord (John); along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, the love of his life Paula Strubberg, along with many friend and cohorts.

Wally was preceded in death by his father, Walter H. Strubberg Sr., mother Wilma J. Wright, stepfather Pat Wright; sister Donna Jean, and brothers: James “Jim” and Billy.

There will be a graveside for family and friends on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00am at Woodlawn Cemetery in Indianola. 

His weary hours and days of pain, his troubled nights are past, and in our aching hearts we know, he has found sweet rest at last.
